Alex Kwechansky, CFS

 

Alex Kwechansky is an accredited Certified Fraud Specialist detecting and investigating fraud in business operations.  Additionally, he creates and teaches CPE fraud detection seminars for accountants and attorneys.

The investigation services include business operations examinations to detect potential fraudulent activity. Investigations are conducted to stop the activity and to restabilize the company.

His consulting activities include studies for financial and asset protection.

He has been detecting and investigating business fraud since 1972. This work has been performed for accounting firms, as CFO and as a consultant.

His consulting services originate from his many years of experience in public accounting, reorganizing and expanding firms in retailing, manufacturing and service companies while teaching related subjects to professionals and executives.

In 1981 he began creating and teaching business courses at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Extension Business School. He created and taught the course, Detection and Prevention of Fraud in Business and Finance, from 1991 through 2004. He currently teaches two Continuing Professional Education seminars for Certified Public Accountants and attorneys on topics of untraceable fraud and deceptive management practices.

Through his website, Alextalksbusiness.com, he provides advice about fraudulent activities in personal and business situations.

His book, Never Underestimate Who Can Cheat You!, teaches how to recognize and protect oneself from fraud and deception in business.

He has been interviewed frequently in the media including business fraud news reports.
